Foremast:
Instrument platform at the top of the foremast is 14.9m (49') above average waterline.
3 - 120V outlets atop
3/8"-16 deck sockets on a 4" x 4" grid
Meteorological Sensors installed as part of underway system.
Run of Bev-A-Line tubing, approximately 115ft (35m), to the forward area of the Main Lab. Additional lengths of tubing can be added to reach other labs.
0.125" ID X 0.250" OD tubing is wrapped with heat tape and encased with 1/2" thick foam from the Foremast to where it enters the ship. Inside the ship it is encased with 3/8" foam.
Instruments mounted on the Foremast can have their cables routed to the Main Deck forward stores area where a Science Node can provide 120V power and an ethernet patch panel. The cable run is about 60ft (18.3m) from the top of Foremast to the Science Node.
Foredeck:
The top of the foredeck is 8.1m (26' 6") above average waterline.
1-inch NC-thread Deck Sockets on a 12" x 12" grid
Instruments mounted on the Foredeck can have their cables routed to the Main Deck forward stores area where a Science Node can provide 120V power and an ethernet patch panel. A cable run from the foredeck to the science node is about 35'(10.7m).
Flying Bridge and Aft of Bridge:
The Flying Bridge is on the 05 level, 16.8m (55') above average waterline.
Aft of the Flying Bridge is on the 04 level, 14.0m (46'0") above average waterline.
A goose neck, just aft of the bridge, provides cable access to the Main Lab.
The run from the goose neck opening, to the floor of the main lab, is approximately 41ft (12.5m). The outlet in the main lab is by the Wet Wall.
A pass-through penetration on the port side of the 03 level provides access to the 03 Upper Lab where clean 120V power and a LAN rack is available.
Main Mast:
Instrument platform is 24.4m (80') above average waterline.
A science node provides 120V power and an ethernet patch panel.
Instrument platform is on the 03 level, 11.3m (37') above average waterline.
Radiometer/PAR Reference Platform
Access to clean 120V power and a LAN rack is available below, in the Science Control Room(SCR)
